This Outstanding Lessons Planning Resource is designed to give teachers tips on how they can take their lesson planning skills from 'good' to 'outstanding' in line with Ofsted's latest inspection criteria.

When it comes to lesson planning, we know that there is no magic formula because, of course, no two lessons or classes are the same. However, Ofsted inspectors will look for signs that the pupils are being challenged, making progress with your intended learning outcomes and are engaged with the topic as a whole.

We appreciate that lesson planning can be difficult and time consuming, so we have gathered educational resources to help and inspire you.

This interactive resource contains downloadable lesson planning templates, case study interviews with influential educators, and guides on how you can introduce reward schemes to your classroom. There are also links to videos of outstanding lesson plans being put into practice in the classroom.
